With Mother’s Day right around the corner I’ve been keeping my eye out for great gift ideas. I found one recently that’s sure to bring a smile to the face of any mom.

We were sent the  Samsung Galaxy Note for review and it is the perfect combination of smartphone and tablet. It’s a great primary device that minimizes the need to switch back-and-forth between phone, tablet, camera, etc.  One less thing for us multi-tasking moms to have to do. And it’s so fun too!

The Samsung Galaxy Note offers a number of incredible features including:

Doesn’t this sound like a great device? I thought so, that’s why I was excited when it arrived in the mail the other day, just in time for Mother’s Day!

I love the general features mentioned above of the Samsung Galaxy Note as well as the S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Note S PenThe S Pen is more than a simple stylus. It not only points like a traditional stylus but it also features 256 levels of pressure sensitivity and allows you to do so much more with the Note.

Samsung Galaxy Note ReviewUsing the S Pen allows you to use S Memo & S Memo Lite. Both enable you to quickly take notes. With S Memo you can then share those notes on Facebook, Twitter, through Gmail and in any other service you load onto the Galaxy Note.

You can write notes on photos or web pages, you can comment directly on a document, and you can even send screenshots of your family vacation complete with handwritten messages. Of course that’s not all. I was also excited to learn that the S Pen works with all Android apps. Some apps are even more fun or useful with the S Pen including:

I was also pleased to learn that the S Pen can adapt to right- or left-handed use and the keyboard can be optimized for one-handed use. It seems they’ve really thought of everything!

While I love the Samsung Galaxy Note, Dave is a techy at heart and he’s spent a lot of time playing with this device. He even said it’s making him think twice about his iPhone – now that’s saying something!

I’m looking forward to incorporating the Note into my daily life and enjoying it’s time-saving and fun features – that is if I can get it away from Dave long enough!

We both have enjoyed our time with the Samsung Galaxy Note and recommend it to anyone looking for a last minute Mother’s Day gift. It’s an amazing device and one that would have any mom floating on cloud nine this Mother’s Day.

    I really need a smart phone. I have a cell phone, but, as I like to refer to it, it is a dumb phone. It really can’t do much. It doesn’t even have a decent camera. It’s handy to have just to make and receive calls. I’ve seen the ads for the Samsung Galaxy Note, and I love it. I know some people are concerned about its size (being a bit larger than most phones), but I am not – I like the extra screen size for what I hope to be using it for.     I would love to have the galaxy note as a college student it would help a lot. I seen that the galaxy allows you to write documents it would be great to write out my essay so I wouldn’t have to continue using the slow computers at the library

    I want to win because I love the hugs display and the stylist. I watch a lot of media content and I like to draw a lot as a hobby. Galaxy Note is big enough and at the same time it is very portable. Just love this phone!

    We are a SAMSUNG products family- we have a laptop, DH has one of their old flip phones (too cheap to upgrade, hey if it works great why get rid of it? :), and both kids have Samsung MP3 players.
