I love my iPhone. Next to Tivo or DVR, it may be the best electronic invention ever! Energizer has just helped make my iPhone experience, as well as Tired Mom Tésa’s more enjoyable as well. Tired Mom Tésa (before she joined the iPhone army) didn’t like my iPhone. If she didn’t think I was ignoring her because I was on it, then I was busy waking her up when I came to bed because I was staying up late browsing around on it.
My iPhone charger is a little USB cord that I have to plug into my phone. It’s tough to find the cord, plug it in and stay quiet enough to not wake up the wife! I would always manage to make just enough noise to get her to wake up and mumble something at me. The new Energizer Inductive Charger has solved that problem for me.
Now I simply place my iPhone down on my Charging Mat and it charges simply by touching the mat, and I am done, no more looking for cords in the dark and more importantly no more waking up Tired Mom Tésa when I come to bed after her – she is Tired Mom Tésa for a reason!
There are a couple of other devices out there which provide cordless charging, it is a great technology, but for me, the Energizer Inductive Charger is the creme de le creme. The other options, although effective, have a very bulky case and are more of an eye-sore for the iPhone and using it all day can be annoying and cumbersome. The Energizer Inductive Charging Sleeve is much slimmer, lighter and good looking. It has been a joy to use.
Energizer has done it again, they have provided the millions of iPhone and other smart phone users with many options for home or office charging, as well as many travel options which we have used (insert post for cordless charger if you want) and have found to be very useful as well.
However, the one downfall of the Energizer Inductive Charging system is that the sleeve for the iPhone (and others I believe) does give you the option of charging it through the conventional cord method. so with this sleeve, you need to use the Inductive Charger. This means that if I use all of my battery life during the day and away from the house (ie. in my car), I need to remove the case so I can insert the charger cord. I believe this will be fixed in the future in one of a couple of different ways.
I thoroughly enjoy using both the Energizer Inductive Charger and the Sleeve, and am grateful for the opportunity to review these products, and more importantly, I look forward to Energizer continuing to revolutionize the way smart phones are used.
