I can’t tell you how excited I am to write about and recommend this next product. Since Tired Dad Dave has officially deemed me a freeze baby (a nickname I don’t argue with!), I consider myself an expert on blankets. Living in Cleveland, our winters are cold and bitter and while I can make it through most of the day comfortably layered in clothing, as soon as the temperature drops in the evening, I spend the rest of the night wrapped up in blankets. So I’m thrilled to have recently found the softest, warmest blanket I’ve ever curled up under!Ellery Homestyles has a new line of ComfortTech Blankets with 3M Thinsulate Insulation. The blankets use 3M’s non-woven technology to provide twice the warmth of high-loft insulating materials and twice as much heat as down alternatives.
As soon as our blanket arrived, I immediately opened it up and was in love. It is so unbelievably soft, plush, and luxurious! I wish you could feel the blanket through this post! Since that’s not possible, I highly recommend the next time you’re in Bed Bath & Beyond (where the blankets sell)find the blankets, take a minute, and see for yourself. I think you’ll be in love too!
I had Kora & Logan cover up with the blanket and they both commented on it’s softness and kept petting it! However, since I just pulled it out of the dryer, Logan thought it was too hot and didn’t sit around for photos but Kora was happy to show off her love for the ComfortTech Blanket:
I could go on and on talking about how soft this blanket is, but it’s other feature that makes it the new favorite blanket in my house, is it’s incredible warmth. It’s such a wonderfully warm and cozy blanket and thanks to the 3M Thinsulate Insulation it is not as bulky as a comforter.
I debated forever whether to leave the blanket out to cuddle up under every evening or to put it on our bed. I finally decided our bed would be the best place for it and then I could get rid of all the little throw blankets I layer on top of myself every night trying to stay warm.
I was so excited how beautiful both the lighter and the darker sides of the blanket look on our bed. Once it gets just a bit warmer it would make a pretty comforter on its own.
I can’t say enough about the Ellery Homestyles ComfortTech Blanket with 3M Thinsulate Insulation and recommend it to anyone shopping for a gorgeous, soft, blanket that will keep you warm all winter long. Pick one up for yourself and be prepared to fall in love with the perfect blanket this Valentine’s Day!
Thank you to Ellery Homestyles for providing the product for review. No compensation was received. The opinions are my own and that of my family.
