Valentine’s Day is almost here and I always love baking this time of year. I enjoy getting in the kitchen with the kids and making fun treats for the family. It’s always fun to see what we can come up with and we like to try new recipes as well as old favorites. It’s fun to search the web and Pinterest for Valentine’s Day recipe ideas and that’s why I was excited to see the Disney inspired recipes and other creative treats on Spoonful.com and to be offered the opportunity to share some of them with you here.
These recipes are cute and would be perfect for school parties or as after school treats. Kora & Logan will be thrilled to see many of their favorite characters like Mickey, Minnie, Piglet, Tiana, and Wall-E decorated cupcakes and cookies. The non-character treats are creative and pretty too with the Berry Sweet Bouquet, the Rose Cupcakes and more.
I was excited to see how many of the recipes were actually very easy too. The Rose Cupcakes are a perfect example. They look intricate and like they took hours to make, but when you read the recipe you may be surprised at how simple they actually are.
I know the kids will be excited to see this collection and I can’t wait to see which ones they want to try. Here are photos provided by Spoonful.com with links to each pattern. Enjoy and happy baking!
