Kora and Logan have been cracking me up lately. Here’s a few conversations we’ve had in the couple of days:
- The other day while driving in the car Logan sneezed and then told me, “Mommy, I bless you’d on my coat.”
- Kora informed me, “Wow! That girl is 16 years old! Mommy, that’s older than you!”
- Kora calls granola bars – gorilla bars.
- Yesterday morning Kora told me about the dream she had the previous night, “I dreamt I was a ballerina, dancing all around with a tattoo on.” (She meant tutu.)
And the Crazy Kid Conversation of the Month Award goes to…Logan:
After picking him up from school the other day, we started to head home and Kora asked him what he had for snack.
He said, “Pretzels and warm beer.” (At least I swear that’s what he said, maybe I was feeling a bit thirsty that morning).
Laughing, I said, “What did you have?”
He then said, “Pretzels and one beer.” (Nope, I heard right! What was this school teaching him!)
Still chuckling, I asked again what he had.
This time he said, “Pretzels and one bear.” (Oh, a Teddy Graham. And only one at that. I think we need to work on Logan’s apparent accent and get Mommy a drink!).

Beer and gorilla bars! I’m coming to your house, lol! I just love all the cute things kids say. My kiddos call them granilla bars…who knew granola was so hard to say

LMAO “I bless you’d on my coat” – now that is too cute!
Hehe, tattoo, tutu, what’s the difference? I wonder if a book can be written solely based on what children say?
OMG the “warm beer” – had me laughing so hard!

I love kids conversations. I was wondering what that one beer was!

Gorilla bars? How cute!! I love this post. Lizzie’s middle name is Leona and I called her “Lizzie Leona.” She said, “I’m not Izzie Fiona, I princess Leia!” Yes, thank you husband for watching so much star wars! LMBO

Seriously adorable…I love the “bless you’d” although I’m sure you would have rather it been anywhere else than his coat!
