CrayolaKora & Logan love anything artistic. They color, draw, & cut every day. Coloring books, paper, crayons, and markers were at the top of their Christmas list this year. I know they didn’t get their talents or love for art from me, but I do enjoy encouraging it. That’s why when I came across Crayola’s Holiday Gift Guide, I was thrilled to see it made shopping for the kids so much easier. The gift guide is searchable by various categories including: Age, Mess-Free, Essentials, Featured Products, Kids Favorites, and more.

After looking over the gift guide, I knew that Kora & Logan would love the Crayola Presto Dots, the Glow Explosion Spin Magic, the Sound Studio, and, of course, more crayons.

When they opened their presents Christmas morning they were excited to find the Crayola gifts.

While they weren’t quite sure what some of the gifts did at the time, once we had a few minutes to open everything up and play with it all they had a ball.

The Crayola Presto Dots to the Max were a big hit.

CrayolaI really liked how the model magic didn’t get all over the place – there was almost no clean-up which was wonderful! It took us awhile to get the hang of making the dots and they didn’t always come out perfectly, but Kora & Logan didn’t mind and, in fact, loved it.

They also received the Crayola Glow Explosion Spin Magic.

I didn’t think the kids would really enjoy coloring on the black paper but, to my surprise, they thought it was fun and sat at the table for an hour making sure every figure was colored.

After they popped out the figures we attached them to the base and they had fun watching them spin around and around.

Kora & Logan enjoyed the Crayola Color Wonder Sound Studio too.

They thought it was fun that they could tap the cards and then make that sound appear anywhere on their picture. They had fun being silly with it and making birds sound like motorcycles and star fish sound like police sirens! I was impressed that the sounds stayed on the page as well, so when they colored on the paper their picture would make noises which made them laugh.

We had a chance to try out the Crayola Story Studio too and Kora & Logan had so much fun with this.

I thought it was so neat and really encouraged creativity and imagination. I uploaded a photo of each of each of the kids and Story Studio made them into characters. Here’s Kora’s Character and Logan’s Character.

After creating a character you can then select different hairstyles, hats, glasses, and more. There were some very funny choices that had Kora & Logan cracking up. After the characters were created we could then put them into their own 6-page story. There are 7 stories to choose from and the kids had fun choosing their costumes for each story and changing background items in each story.

After reading the stories online and customizing each of the stories, we saved them as PDF’s and then printed them. Kora & Logan sat at our dining room table most of the afternoon coloring their stories. I do have to admit that this is something I would have loved as a kid – it just looked like so much fun!

Thanks to Crayola, Kora & Logan had a super-fun and creative Christmas. We had a blast with each of the products and would recommend them to anyone with an art-loving toddler or preschooler in their life.
