Core Fusion Bootcamp DVD – Review

I have been on the quest to lose the last bit of baby weight from Emma that is sadly still hanging around. It really is true that the pounds from a second baby are much more stubborn than the first! I enjoy working out and before we had both girls in daycare I belonged to our local gym and would try to get there as much as I could when I was home. Now that I no longer have a gym membership and the Northeast Ohio winter weather isn’t very pleasant for running outside, I’ve had to get creative and start using workout DVDs at home.

Core Fusion Bootcamp DVD Review

Core Fusion has a line of workout DVDs with a wide variety and they just added a new one, Core Fusion – Bootcamp. I have never used any DVDs from Core Fusion before so I was excited to try out the newest addition. I enjoy boot camp type classes and I feel like I’m working hard when I’m completely dripping with sweat.

This DVD is broken into five 10 minutes segments so I could choose just how much I wanted to do. The only equipment needed are light hand weights, a mat, and a playground ball, but the workouts do show modifications to do without the equipment as well. The Boot camp workouts are very yoga and Pilates based so it was much different than my “usual” boot camp expectations but I still was working hard!

Why I Like Core Fusion Bootcamp DVD

  • I could choose how long I wanted to workout depending on my schedule
  • Each 10 minute segment could easily be a stand alone workout
  • I could modify each one to do in my hotel rooms without equipment
  • Workouts weren’t high impact and gentle on my knees (which aren’t the greatest)
  • I got to try out yoga and Pilates moves that I haven’t done before
  • After a few weeks, my jeans fit a little looser

While Core Fusion Bootcamp wasn’t what I was expecting from a typical “boot camp” workout, I still got sweaty and worn out. I’ll be adding Core Fusion Bootcamp to my rotation for sure.

The product was provided for review. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own.

You’re right! The pounds from the second baby are harder to drop. I need a workout like this to get me motivated and kick me in the butt :) I’ll have to check it out.
