Convertible Designs – Beetle/Jacket/Pillow Review & Coupon Code

I think little kid jackets are just so cute and we have a closet full of coats to prove it at our house. Even in all my coat buying for Mackenzie, I have never run into anything like Convertible Designs T-Jack jackets.

Mackenzie loves her stuffed animals and thinks that anything that does a “trick” is the coolest thing ever right now. Convertible Designs sent her the Beetle jacket to test out. It arrived as a coat.

I knew Mackenzie would love to see it as the beetle first, so I looked at the instructions (conveniently put on the tags of the coat) to see how to turn it into the pillow. The bottom of the beetle’s body is stored inside the lining of the jacket and then it is zipped to the body of the beetle on the back of the jacket, stuff the jacket inside and suddenly you have a beetle pillow.

I gave Mackenzie the pillow and she hugged it, loved it, and wanted to take it to bed with her.

Then I showed her the “magic trick” and turned it back into the coat by zipping off the bottom of the beetle. She thought that was just so cool! Mackenzie said the blue and green beetle on the back was so sparkly and she loved it and wanted to wear it right away.

The Convertible Designs T-Jack jacket is a high-quality fully insulated coat. The water resistant nylon/polyester shell with a poly fill quilted lining is machine washable, which is great news for us as Mackenzie always manages to get her winter coats filthy. The size Large (for 4-5yrs) fits her perfectly.

Overall, this is a super cute coat with a fun twist!
