Recently, Three Rivers Press sent me Consider It Done: Accomplish 228 of Life’s Trickiest Tasks to review. I enjoyed sitting down to relax and read tips about accomplishing some of life’s “tricky tasks” as the book proclaims. The author, Julie Subotky, runs a personal concierge company dedicated to solving problems, saving time, and making life easier… so I was sure the book would be packed with helpful tips for keeping my household, which frequently seems like a cluttered zoo, more manageable.
What I Liked About Consider It Done
- The interesting and funny personal stories of the author’s own experiences
- The helpful tips ranging from what and what not to pack for trips to how to hire lion tamers for your party.
Although most of the tips were relevant, some didn’t exactly apply to my lifestyle or meet my interests or needs…. like cloning your pet or sneaking an elephant into a park… however the other tips, like getting gum out of clothing and eating free for a week, sounded more my thrifty and practical style and made the book worth reading! The tips that sounded outrageous were actually fun to read and kept me interested!
If you’re looking for a fun, laid-back read with a few valuable tips mixed in, then Consider It Done: Accomplish 228 of Life’s Trickiest Tasks may just be the book for you.
The product was provided for review. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own.
