Hebrew National and TheMotherhood.com have teamed up to bring an incredible picnic to Cleveland on July 3rd, 2010 from 11:30 am – 3:30 pm. Cleveland is the 8th stop of a cross-country tour for the Better-Than-A-Picnic Picnic events.
The Cleveland Picnic will be lots of fun with:
- FREE (and plenty of!) Hebrew National Hot Dogs, Fruit, and Refreshments
- Service Projects
- Music
- Giant Puzzles
- Mechanical Bull
- Other activities for kids and families
The Picnic will take place at Victory Park in Vermilion, which is located on Main Street (Rt. 60) between Liberty Ave. and Ohio St. in Vermilion, OH.
I’m excited to be co-hosting this picnic with:

We will be collecting travel size toiletries for the USO of Northern Ohio to send to soldiers overseas and also for the Hitchcock Center for Women. There is no charge for this picnic and the food and refreshments are free. We only ask that you bring a few of the items on the list below, it would be greatly appreciated by the soldiers and women’s shelter guests.

- Shampoo & Conditioner for Children & Adults
- Toothpaste & Toothbrushes for Children & Adults
- Lotion
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Deodorant
- Dental Floss
- Chapstick
- Baby Wipes
- Dry Powder Drink Mixes
- Fruit Snacks & Fruit Roll-Ups
- Raisins
- Beef Jerky
Also, we will have some craft projects available as well. Picnickers can sign 4th of July Thank You cards to send to soldiers and decorate inspirational mini-canvases for the women of the Hitchcock Center.
