Last week we took Kora & Logan to their first Brown’s game. It was a pre-season game against the Bears which Tired Dad Dave and I figured would be the perfect introductory game for them.
Since it was pre-season all of the players that Tired Dad Dave wants to see play would do so in the first quarter. Since the game didn’t start until 8 pm, which is normally Kora & Logan’s bedtime we could leave in the first half and everyone would be happy.
The kids had a blast. Kora loved cheering, clapping to the music, and dancing. While Logan found the music a little loud he did enjoy yelling, “Go Browns! and “Taco! Good taco!” (He meant tackle!) as well as eating popcorn.
Here’s few photos from the night:
Thanks to Chevy who provided the ticket. No compensation was received.

How fun! I remember taking our kids to their first baseball game at Wrigley Field! Such a fun & exciting time for them!
“Taco” “Good Taco”!!! That’s cute.
Reminds me of the ‘under toad’ and ‘gradual school*’ in the World According to Garp
*Gradual school is when you go to grad school and gradually decide you don’t want to go to school anymore…
GO! Broncos!

beautiful pictures!!
if we could afford the football tix we would go see the chargers, but we settle for the Padres lol.
Looks like you guys had a BLAST! And I can’t imagine taking pre-schoolers, whew…no wonder you’re so wired and tired.
My daughter is all over the local town football team and has decided that we are required to go to EVERY game…ugh…what an experience that will be.
Thanks for the post – we are taking my son to a football game soon and I’m glad to see your kids had such a blast. I’m sure my son will love it! Looks like you all enjoyed yourself!!! :)
Great photos! Looks like fun!
We are Orlando Magic season ticket holders and we have been too afraid to take my son to games over the past couple of years. Did I mention I even gave up my seat to the NBA Finals 2 years ago since I had to babysit (YES, I am still bitter over that one)! But, my husband’s friend was VERY appreciative to use my seat!
We thought this year may be better since he is a little older, now we are second guessing that! At 2, he is just so unpredictable. BUT, I love this idea…take him to a preseason game for a test drive! We have a few preseason games coming up so fingers crossed!
Gosh, those kids are cute!!!!
I keep thinking that I need to carry a recorder around all the time to capture those precious momjents and ways that they express themselves that will be gone all too soon.

Wow, what a cool experience. I was in college before I went to a pro game (although I’m not a pro football fan – college, all the way!). Your kids will cherish those memories.
