The 3 Day for the Cure is over and it was an amazing experience! I was excited that Energizer picked me as their Keep Going Blogger for Cleveland. They provided my participation fee and I am sharing my experiences about the walk.
You may be wondering where I’ve been all day. Hardly any tweets, no post until 10:30 pm. Well, I’ve been uploading and organizing all those photos and videos from the 3 Day for the Cure that I’ve been promising you.
You can find 375 photos here on Photobucket. (Which after you click the link, look in the upper right corner & you’ll see a red “Slideshow” button which will take you through all the pictures or you can click on them one-by-one it’s all up to you).
And 23 videos can be found here on YouTube – scroll to the bottom for a 3 Day for the Cure playlist.
Also, just to let you know I do have plans for a couple of video montages in the works as well and hope to get those up in the next week or so.
Even tough I took so many photos and videos, as I was going through everything today I found myself constantly remarking – “I can’t believe I didn’t get a shot of ____”. I was juggling my camera, iPhone, and FlipCam for day-in and day-out for 3 full days and I there were still pictures I missed. That just goes to show you what a weekend it was.
I have other fantastic news in relation to the 3-Day for the Cure. A number of my family members have expressed interest in working on the Crew at next year’s Cleveland 3-Day for the Cure! I’m so excited about this and am going to be Crewing along with them. I really looking forward to seeing the other side of the event and to experiencing it all again this time with my family!
Well, it’s late and I’m still feeling sleep-deprived from the weekend, so I’m off to bed. But you go ahead enjoy the pictures and videos. Hopefully you’ll find I was able to capture a good part of the weekend and it will be a wonderful look back over those incredible three days.
Sounds like a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful pictures and great videos! I can’t believe how many you took! I couldn’t make it through your videos without crying, I don’t know how I’ll make it through my 3-Day walk/event without balling.
What amazing 3 days you had.
I checked out some pictures…..just beautiful. They bring tears to my eyes and make me think about my MIL. I can’t wait to check out the videos tonight.
What beautiful pictures! They gave me chills… :-)
Tesa I love that ever one of your morning pics started the day with a pink sky. How fitting!
Thanks for writing about the 3-Day so clearly! I sent your blog address to my 3-Day teammates (Ms. America Tatas will be walking/crewing in Chicago this weekend) so the newbies could get a good picture of what each day is like. It really is hard to understand if you haven’t done it before, but your portrayal was lovely :)
Wow! I didnt realize you were from the Cleveland area as well.. I have been considering a local blogger meet up.. we totally should some time!!
