Did you know that the house that was used as Ralphie’s family home in A Christmas Story is located in Cleveland? It is and it is now a museum open for tours.
And this year marks the first A Christmas Story Convention which will take place on Friday, November 26th and Saturday, November 27th. The Convention will feature:
- Appearances by seven original cast members
- A BB gun range in the backyard
- Rides on the original fire truck from the movie
- A special movie screening with commentary
- …and more!
For a complete schedule and ticket information please visit: A Christmas Story House and Museum website.

We watch this faithfully every year! On Christmas eve we will all watch this as a family and then sing Deck the halls with boughs of horry LOL
What a blast!!!! I love it!
I heard about this on some early show last year and thought it was pretty funny. I always thought it was a Wisconsin movie for some reason but love that it is Ohio. I tell ya, Cleveland is a pretty great place to live!
One of my family’s favorite movies!!!!
A few Christmases ago I actually made all 3 of my girls THE bunny suit that was given to Ralphie by Aunt Clara…because every year they’d complain because they never got a cool present like that….they LOVED ‘em~~and we’re talking girls in their 20′s……needless to say, it was one of our most fun Christmases ever.
I’m going to try to make it to that house in Cleveland!
