Chips Ahoy! Wiches – Limited Edition Summer Recipe

It actually hit 85 degrees here today. Which is the perfect reason to break out the ice cream. Kora & Logan have inherited their love of ice cream from their father. If they could eat it every day at every meal, they’d all be happy! They’ve also inherited his love of chocolate chip cookies.

When I heard that Chips Ahoy! has released a Limited Edition American Summer version of their traditional cookie I knew the kids and Tired Dad Dave would love it.With red, white, and blue chocolate chips and that same delicious Chips Ahoy! sweet and salty taste, it makes a wonderful treat for any summer day, picnic, or 4th of July party.

Then when I saw the package recommends making Chips Ahoy! Wiches using Chips Ahoy! Breyer’s Blasts! ice cream I knew this would be the perfect must-have summer day snack for the kids.

Tired Dad Dave did the shopping the other day and since he and the kids prefer chocolate ice cream he picked up the Oreo version of the Breyer’s Blasts!

They followed the Chips Ahoy! Wiches recipe and couldn’t have been happier!

Since it was so warm and my kids eat so slowly, they asked if they could have their ice cream in a dish and dip their cookies instead. So we did some disassembling and they loved it just the same.

Kora & Logan gave this super special Limited Edition summer snack two thumbs up. As soon as they finished their last bites, they said that they can’t wait to have the Chips Ahoy! Wiches again soon!

While we had the Oreo Breyers Blasts! version of these delicious ice cream sandwiches I think the Chips Ahoy! Breyers Blasts! look like an incredible combination too.

We all loved the Limited Edition Chips Ahoy! American Summer cookies and the Breyers Blasts! ice cream. Combining them both into the Chips Ahoy! Wiches was delicious and we all look forward to having them again all summer long.
