Tired Dad Dave, the kids, and I recently had a chance to visit Chili’s to try the new Triple Dipper as well.
We looked over the 10 choices of tasty appetizers offered and decided on the Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip (which was a must-have because we loved Chili’s Tostada Chips), the Fried Cheese, and the Southwestern Egg Rolls.
It was all delicious! The chips and dip were wonderful as always. We had never had the fried cheese but you can never go wrong with that. The Southwestern Egg Rolls looked so good on the menu that we had to give them a try and we were so glad we did. They were full of flavor, not too spicy, and gone in minutes! We’ll be definitely getting them again at future visits.
The Triple Dipper offered such a great selection and so much food that Tired Dad Dave and I split it and a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. They both really hit the spot. Kora & Logan were so thrilled to be at Chilli’s. They love it there as much as we do. They enjoyed a few of the chips along with their meals of Macaroni & Cheese and mandarin oranges.
After eating the Chili’s Triple Dipper, it started an interesting conversation between Tired Dad Dave and I about our favorite foods. I asked him if he could have any of his 3 favorite foods on one plate what would he choose? He said, “Pierogies, a baseball stadium hot dog, and Mexican pizza.” When he asked me what I would have I said, “Pizza, croissants, and creme brulée.” Ah, to dream!
