Our kids love toys! (plus I love pics of them smiling!).
This happens a couple of times every year for all of you, it’s either Christmas time or a birthday for a child in your family, either a child, niece, nephew, grandchild, etc. and you have NO clue what they want for a present. The struggle between educational and straight out fun is a constant battle in our heads, and on top of that, if you aren’t around the child daily, you have no idea what they want, because it changes daily . . . or hourly!

That’s why I’m excited to work about the Time To Play app for iOS or Android device. TimetoPlayMag.com – a top source for all things play, recently released the Shop for Kids app. The Shop for Kids app offers instant access to thousands of options, we are talking action toys, science sets, dolls, books and tons more.
The Shop for Kids app gives you reviews, ratings, descriptions and even a video so you can see the product in action. You have the ability to search for a specific toy, or the app will also allow you to choose your type of toy and narrow it down and give you choices in your category. This is a great option to see a variety of toys that fit the description that you want to purchase for your loved one.
Another instance where the Shop for Kids app can help you out is when you are in the store wondering what the heck a paticular toy does. You are able to scan the products UPC code and get a complete product description and compare product prices from local stores and online retailers as well. You even have the ability to click through and purchase any item right from your app. Let’s say I scanned the UPC code of the Crayola product below, you can see a description cost comparison, and if you scroll down you even get a video of the product, shopping made soooooooo easy, you can see who sells it at the best price for you and buy it with a couple of clicks.
Since (I want) Logan (may) want to ask for a remote control car for Christmas, I searched for them.
I was impressed by the number of items that popped up.
Kora is into chapter books, and this app gives you a brief review on many of them
So many options and using this app is much easier than running around to multiple stores to see what is best, and using this is much better than running out the hour before you get together to celebrate (wow, the memories of shopping with my big Sis on Christmas Eve!).
This is a real game changer when it comes to buying gifts, not only for the Holidays, but for all year. This is a fun and easy solution for the reoccuring problem of what to buy. Shop for Kids is a free app for your iDevice and Android as well, and this is a must see before you start randomly guessing what your lil’ niece wants for Christmas this year.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts.
We loved this post, & yes we down loaded the app, perfect for our needs. Always has the hottest toys before any body else
This sounds like the perfect app for my shopping! Love that you can get a product description!
This looks like a blast! My niece would love this.
I love the part about scanning the UPC for product info and possible video demo of the product. Sounds like a great app.
This sounds like a great app for shopping for my grandsons this Christmas! I love that I can read reviews about the products.
