Kora and Logan love being outside. If we lived in a warmer climate, I know they would play outside every single day. Some of their favorite things to do outside are to ride their bikes and play with chalk. That’s why I was excited to learn about an outdoor toy that is the perfect combination of the two – Chalk City!
Dave recently took the kids to a nearby park where they were able to play with Chalk City on the empty tennis court and I’m not sure who had more fun with it, the kids or him!
They didn’t just make a road, they made an entire city with buildings, houses, and more. So fun and creative!
Kora, Logan, and Dave had so much fun playing with Chalk City. They loved drawing roads and obstacle courses and then riding or running around them. You can see what a great time they had in this video:
Chalk City is a variety of products that make outdoor play fun. The Road Maker (which you see Dave using above) makes it very simple to create straight or winding roads.
Road Stencils include a stop, turn arrow, and straight ahead stencils. These are perfect for making a fun race track or meandering path to ride around.
And Obstacle Course Stencils ncourage kids to do jumping jacks, hop on both feet, and to turn in circles.
Chalk City was such a hit with Kora and Logan that they have asked every day since, if they can play with it again. Unfortunately, it’s been a bit too chilly lately but hopefully it will warm up soon and we’ll get back out there.
We recommend Chalk City to anyone with children in their lives. It is a lot of fun and really gets their creativity and imagination going along with providing inspiration for physical activity. Chalk City products are found in specialty stores around the country and online. Visit the Chalk City website store locator to find a retailer near you.

Very cool toy. My daughter would love this. Thanks for sharing!
How fun! T is too young for this yet, but she loves sidewalk chalk so we’ll have to get her this when she’s older.
