This past weekend was a busy one for us, but an extremely fun one. We took a family road trip to various amusement parks in the area. On Saturday, we went to Geauga Lake’s Wildwater Kingdom and on Sunday we traveled to Cedar Point.
My sister’s family came down from Michigan to travel with us. Our nieces are 4 and 6, so it was a wonderful opportunity for Kora, Logan & their cousins to have tons of fun at two of Ohio’s top amusement parks.
On Sunday, Cedar Point opened at 10 am. With what appeared to be the entire rest of the world, we were 10 minutes late in arriving, so we traveled down the causeway in a sea of cars.

We go to CP every year and we LOVE it. This year our oldest was able to join us w/his fiance who had never been and she loved it too. :)

I have never been to Cedar Point but I know 2 families that travel over six hours just to go there for the day! I can see why – looks like a fantastic place for fun.

Sounds like a blast! I’ve been to Cedar Point before and had a great time. It’s sad that ticket prices are so high (and I know this isn’t limited to Cedar Point). Having a family outing at a place like this puts a dent in the wallet that I have trouble justifying. That being said, I’m sure we’ll end up there sometime after Tyler and his little sibling reach the proper ages.
