I have a problem with baby blankets. My problem is that I love them and buy way too many! However, in my defense, just like there are diaper bags for different uses, there are baby blankets for different uses too (at least in my mind!). Some are to toss over the carseat in the snowy weather, others to play on during tummy time, and the “nice” ones for when it’s visiting time. Carousel Designs sent Emma the Black and White Dots and Stripes Crib Blanket to review.

Carousel Designs soft and lightweight crib blanket is just the thing to wrap your baby up, snug as a bug in a rug. At 34″ x 43″, it’s the perfect size for the newest addition to the family. I prefer larger blankets, especially now that Emma is bigger and these actually cover all of her up.
The black and white polka dot fabric was a little stiff before I washed it, but it felt like it would easily repel drool, which is important in our house these days. The white ChicMink side was so so soft, even after a spin in the dryer. Now, I don’t think that a white baby blanket is the most practical item for everyday use, but it washes really well and stayed white even after Emma, Big Sister and our dog all used the blanket somehow.
