Blueair Air Purifiers and Filters

It’s that time of year where we are all cooped up inside with the windows closed and we just aren’t getting the fresh air that we need. That’s why we use air purifiers in our house. We have one in our living room and recently placed a Blueair Clean AirBall in the kids room.

Blueair Clean Airball Both air purifiers really seem to be helping our overall health. I’m knocking on wood here, but so far none of us have gotten dreadfully sick yet this winter. Usually at this time of year with Kora and Logan in school and participating in after school activities they are bringing home a myriad of germs and we’ve all suffered from a bad cold or the flu at some point. However this year, if one of us gets sick it seems to last a day or so and then we get better.

I attribute some of that to the cleaner air we are breathing thanks to the air filters.

That’s why I like Blueair. Their goal is to manufacture the best air purification systems possible. They have a wide variety of air purifiers and filters in nice sleek designs that work to clean the air throughout your house or office. Each of the Blueair units is Energy Star Certified, features HepaSilent technology, and is 100% ozone free.

Bluair Central is also a fascinating product. It is a whole house air purification system that was rated 5 stars from the Allergy Buyers Club. It removes 99% of large allergens like pollen, dust, and dander and 99% of bacteria, viruses, and molds throughout the entire house. And it’s easy to install too. It pops right on to your existing heater or air conditioner! How neat is that?!

If you’re interested in purchasing a Blueair Air Purifier or Filter be sure to visit the Blueair Outlet Store where you can find factory refurbished units at lower prices.

We’ve been happy with our Blueair Clean AirBall and recommend the company to anyone looking to purchase an air purifier or filter.

Air purifiers are incredibly versatile, and are adaptable to multiple uses in the home, office and work environment. Whether it’s to just make the air that you breathe cleaner or remove toxins, most units operate on a very simple technology. Purifiers draw air from the room with a fan, clean it and send it back out into the room. After the air is drawn into the system, there are a number of ways that cleaning it can be performed. The air can be absorbed into specific media like zeolite or carbon. When chemical contaminants come into contact with the media they are removed from the room. During the absorption process, little impact on particles occurs, but it will remove chemicals and some parts of tobacco smoke and odors. The second type of filtration media is the mechanical filtering you find on your furnace filter. When the air is drawn into your furnace filtration system, there is a fine screen that removes air particles. Furnace filtration is usually done with a fine, HEPA, screen filter that removes particles as small as 0.3 microns. If you’re looking for the best air purifiers for your furnace, you’ll find that this HEPA filter will remove particles like pollen and mold spores, but will have little effect on the chemicals in the air. It’s usually used in combination with some form of absorption filter.
    Warm regards,
    Paul
