Biotrue by Bausch + Lomb – Review

I just realized the other day that I’ve worn contacts for over 20 years. Wow, does that make me feel old! I got my first pair of glasses in 2nd grade and while I loved them for about the first year, it wasn’t long after that I was wishing for contacts. Glasses just seemed to get in the way of everything, especially playing on the playground or in any games involving a ball. My glasses were a magnet for the ball and the- and boy, getting hit in the face with a ball while wearing glasses is painful!

Once I was allowed to wear contacts in 8th grade I was thrilled. I could see better and I felt more co-ordinated and confident. Way back then caring for contacts was much different than it is now.

I took a minute to record this video and reminisce about all the steps I used to have to take to clean my contacts as well as to introduce Bausch + Lomb’s new Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution.

What I Like About Bausch + Lomb Biotrue

  • It helps keep my contacts from drying out easily due to heat or air conditioning
  • The lubricant it uses is naturally found in your eyes
  • It has a dual disinfection system to keep contacts clean and free of germs

Biotrue ReviewAs a seasoned contact wearer, I’ve been happy with Biotrue and would recommend it to others looking for a more naturally based multi-purpose solution. As always, however, it is recommended you check with you health care provider to see if Biotrue is right for you.

I wrote this review while participating in a Mom Central Consulting blog tour on behalf of Bausch + Lomb Biotrue. I received a Biotrue sample and a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

You sound just like me. I got glasses in 4th grade and contacts in 8th grade and am still waiting for my Lasik :). I’ll have to check out the BioTrue solution. I also signed up at the 5 minutes for mom site you sent me. Thanks for the info. Hopefully we can both go next year.
