I love summer, but we always seem to be on the go with camps, softball and soccer practice and gymnastics. While my girls are very active, I usually end up watching from the sidelines. That’s why I was excited when I was approached my Austin-Lehman Adventures and asked to participate in the Austin-Lehman Active Family Challenge.
The challenge was to find active and fun adventures to explore around my own city with my family. I have always wanted to go hiking with my family, but never seem to have the time. I thought this would be a great opportunity.
I choose the Paint Creek Trail. I have always heard great things about it and was excited to finally be able to check it out ourselves. While my 7-year-old, Jules, probably would have like to adventure off the path, it was perfect for my 4-year-old, Bella.
We had such a great time that we are already planning our next hiking adventure.

I love the outdoors..those are some great pics…especially the butterfly!
Where is this? We were at Brecksville reservation and Bonny park in the past week. Is this on the way west side or the east side?
Oh, okay. Never mind! I see it’s some sort of guest post!
Wow, these places sound grand! I wish we had someplace to go to like your Paint Creek. With living in a desert, the safest place for us during the summer is to stay indoors. How wonderful it would be to live someplace that has green areas to visit.
