Valentine’s Day is around the corner and one of the most common gifts to give and receive is flowers. I was recently browsing the 1-800-Flowers site and was impressed by their selection of flowers and gifts. They have a beautiful variety and something for everyone. While I love flowers, as soon as I saw the Sweetheart Bamboo I knew it would be a great surprise for the whole family.
Quite a few years ago I bought Dave a Bamboo plant for his office. It was in a cute red container and he enjoyed it for years. Then when he changed offices and worked from home for awhile the plant didn’t make the transition well for some reason and never made it to his new office.
That’s why I was excited to get the Sweetheart Bamboo to keep at home. I knew that Dave would like it and Kora & Logan too. As soon as the kids saw the heart shaped plant they were really excited and said, “Wow, that is so neat!” I love the vase that it came in as well as the ornamental rocks to fill it with. It’s a lovely plant that is eye-catching and attractive. It’s a symbol of charm, luck, and good fortune and is a perfect gift for couples or families to enjoy.
I like the Sweetheart Bamboo because not only is it pretty, it is easy to care for and can grow in low light conditions. It does not need any soil or fertilizer and you don’t have to water it often. I confess to not having much of a green thumb but I’m certain that this will be easy enough to care for that we look forward to enjoying it for years to come.
I was also happy to see that it came with a box of Harry London assorted chocolates. The chocolates are beautiful and delicious and won’t last long here in our house!
We are really happy with our Sweetheart Bamboo plant and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, creative, and thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift this year.
